Hydraulic Service Technician - Timaru

We are located in the South Island of New Zealand, with offices and workshops both in Timaru and Christchurch, and we now have a representative in the North Island in Tauranga.
An immediate opportunity exists at our Timaru branch for a Hydraulic Service Technician to join our highly capable and experienced service team.
You will be undertaking all types of hydraulic service work, fault finding and repairs, both on site and in our workshop. The work is very diverse with a large range of industries and manufacturers serviced by our Timaru workshop, including farming, earthmoving, fishing and shipping companies.
This position involves being part of a 24 hour on-call roster. There is great opportunity for travel both nationally and internationally doing installation and commissioning type work.

The following skills would be advantageous:
• Hose making and tube bending
• Logical trouble shooting methods
• Welding and brazing
• Reading and understanding hydraulic circuits
• Being physically fit
• Have neat and tidy workshop practices
• Current drivers licence
• Mechanical aptitude

Due to an increase in workload - an opportunity exists at our Christchurch branch for a Hydraulic Service Technician to join our highly capable and experienced service team.
You will be undertaking all types of hydraulic service work, fault finding and repairs, both on site and in our workshop. The work is very diverse with a large range of industries and manufacturers serviced by our Christchurch workshop.
